Whilst out of the water for her annual hull clean and application of antifoul, we also cleaned up the propellers and rudders and applied PropSpeed. We begin cleaning by hand with Salfuman to strip back to the metal, scraping away any remnants of marine growth before using a disc sander to finish the preparation stage.
The PropSpeed is then applied as a 2 stage system of primer and clear coat. We always recommend PropSpeed to our clients to reduce marine growth, protect against corrosion, and improve boat performance through the season.
